why is there an owl on the upper righ side of the us dollar?

it is very very small.
Looking on the side with washington. In the upper right hand corner by the 1. Between the leaves and the one there is a little owl perched. It looks like a dot but if you look at it closer, it is an owl. You may have to use a magnifying glass.

The owl is there because you have a good imagination.

take a one dollar bill, the reverse side, fold it so that the two circles on the bill are matched half to half, ie fold the bill in three equal sections, like the fold outs at the back of the old Mad Magazine . The words “TheGreat seal ” and “United states” becomes

    “THE GREED STATES”

i have never seen the owl however.

the owl is an traditional symbol that represents wisdom and also is used to represent various pagan gods such as Moloch. Why it is on the dollar I have no idea. But these kinds of website are prolific!

The Owl is a nice little creative addition by an engraver. Theories persist about it, including a conspiracy with George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, but nothing has been issued formally from the US government about it.
