Summed up in a few words...
Tudgay signed for the Owls on a month's loan deal on day one of 2006 but manager Paul Sturrock wasted no time in making the English born player a permanent member of the squad, after the 22 year old scored on his debut in a 3-0 win over Crewe.
After having made his way through the ranks at Derby County he made his first senior appearance in August 2002 and went on to score 17 goals in 99 appearances (59 starts) for the Rams.
Tudgay scored 11 goals in 39 league appearances during the 2006/07 season, but was also utilised as a right-winger in the absence of Wade Small and Jermaine Johnson. |
