| Summed up in a few words... Marsden returned to his home city when Chris Turner signed his from Korean side Busan Icons on a free transfer. The central midfielder boasted 17 years of football experience when he joined Wednesday, having started his career with the Blades on the other side of the city. Turner made the then 35 year old his captain at the start of 04/05 but unfortunately for Chris an injury sustained in training forced him into retirement. It was a catastrophic blow for the Owls at that stage in their season. He stayed as a close part of the squad despite his injury under Sturrock as Wednesday later went on to gain promotion that season under the guidance of Lee Bullen. |
