| Paul Sturrock raided his old club Plymouth in March 2005 to bring defensive midfielder Steve Adams to the club. Adams joined the Owls towards the end of the 2004/05 season in the middle of an injury crisis and was quick to settle into the team. However, injuries and tough competition for places in midfield restricted Adams to just 11 more appearances for the Owls in the following two seasons. His contract was not renewed at the end of the 2006/07 season as Brian Laws ironically raided his old club to bring Suncthorpe United's utility player Richrd Hinds to the club. |
