Sean was offered his first professional contract, a one year deal, after breaking into the Owls first team as an Academy player in 2005/06. He made his first team debut in a 3-0 defeat at Southampton, but many regarded him the best Owls player in that match with a hard working, fiesty display.
He came on as a sub in that game but on the final day of the season was handed his full debut in a 2-0 win at Derby County.
In the 2006/07 season McAllister was used when other senior players were out injured. But that still allowed him to make seven appearances during that campaign, six as a sub, and scoring his first senior goal in a 2-0 win at Plymouth.
McAllister put pen to paper on a one year contract keeping him at the club until 2008. |
