| After impressing in an initial one month loan spell in September and October 2007 Brian Laws brought the experienced Irish midfielder back to Hillsborough for a second loan term on the final day of the January transfer window. The Dublin born player was surplus to requirements at The Stadium of Light under Roy Keane but can expect plenty of first team action for The Owls with Glenn Whelan having been sold on the same day to Stoke City. Kavanagh operates in the middle of the park and has the all round midfield qualities to do a good job at this level for Wednesday. The question will be, unlike Wednesday's other veteran midfield player Steve Watson, he can stay fit. |
