Somebody’s always dying somewhere in the vicinity where you live. So if you want to look at it that way, sure, why not?
Of course, you could also connect any other random sighting of anything else for the same reason- people are always dying.
I’ve seen owls in my yard late in the day with no ill effects to anyone I know. I also used to live in a house where birds would sometimes fly in when the back door was opened, which is also supposed to be a harbinger of death. Nothing ever happened other than the usual number of deaths in the area.
