		<description>The owl is only doing what comes naturally...he is eating, just like every other  creature on the planet, including yourself. Owls tend to roost in non-native palm trees because all the native trees have been cut down.  Keep in mind, harassing, or harming this bird in ANY way is against the law.  They are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and you can be fined or jailed for interfering with these birds.  The bird may have a nest in the palm or nearby.  Just let nature take it&#039;s course and enjoy the fact that you have a beautiful owl to watch.  Owls usually are more interested in mice and rats, but will take birds when available.  Maybe there are not many rodents in the area so he has no other food sources except other birds.</description>
