Wednesday end pre-season with local derby win

A team mixed of first team players and reserve lads took the field to play local side Rotherham Utd. This did include senior players such as skipper Peter Atherton, Andy Booth and Italian Benito Carbone.
Carbone scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute, through a fine shot which was too good for the Rotherham keeper to hold onto. Other than that it was a somewhat uneventful friendly encounter.
