A 37th minute counter attack by Villa led to the games only goal, scored by
Joachim. As like in the opening game defeat at home to West Ham, Wednesday were caught out
after an attack and were punished with their 2nd home defeat of the season.
The game had started so well for Wednesday though, when Booth headed in after 5 mins, only to have what
would have been his first goal of the season disallowed. After this he went on to miss several chances that could've won the game,
only to the dismay of the Hillsborough faithful. After the game Danny Wilson defended Booth saying they wanted to strengthen the squad
with new signings and not sell players.
