Derby win for Wednesday second string

Wednesday's Reserve side took the honours in the Pontins League Reserve fixture that saw The Owls defeat Yorkshire rivals Leeds United 2-0 away from home.

Goals either side of half time by wingers Wade Small and Dave McClements sealed victory for Wednesday over a Leeds side that boasted several first team players including Tore Andre Flo, Alan Thomson, Mark De Vries and Radostin Kishishev.

It was Wednesday's third win from their last four Reserve outings.
