Quick fire brace kills off Owls
Match Report soon.
Half-time: Owls 0-0 Luton
Paul Sturrock's post match comments:
"In the first half we paid dearly for the chances we created and have not taken. Whoever gets the first goal in this league usually goes on to win game and that's what happened. We were just launching things up front and just playing for crumbs. When we go behind, we've got to keep playing and roll our sleeves up."
Mike Newell (Luton manager) post match comments:
"The law of averages says you are going to get an away win somewhere. It strengthens our play-off hopes. Rowan Vine's done really well. He's won the penalty and he scored a wonder goal. Wednesday have had a few decent results of late and have been in a bit of form. We were expecting a difficult game.
There were periods when they had spells in the game. They had plenty of ball in the first half and won plenty in the air which is not like us.
AnzOwls' verdict: It seems our problems infront of goal haven't been fixed. Bring on Steven MacLean.
