Match Report

Half-time: Cardiff 1-0 Owls

Paul Sturrock's post match comments:
"The players really came up with the goods today and we dominated the second half yet couldn't get a goal we deserved. It is strange but I'm really quite pleased with the way the lads played and we must take the positives out of this performance. The players are gutted but we have to build on this as anyone watching the match would never have thought we were a bottom four side."

Dave Jones (Cardiff manager) post match comments:
"It helps to be a lucky manager and today that was certainly the case. At this stage of the season it is all about luck and determination and even though the difference between the two halves was incredible the papers will give three points to Cardiff and we can take that on to the training ground on Monday. All we can do is win games and ride our luck so let's enjoy the victory, regroup and look forward to visiting Wolves next week."
