Match Report

Two in a row for injury struck Owls

Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu makes it two wins on the trot for the Owls with a penalty either side of half-time. It makes it three goals in two games for the on-loan Ghanian striker. Chris Turner was forced to name 5 youngsters on the bench, and two full Wednesday debuts to Jon Shaw and on-loan midfielder Mark Chambers.

The win moves Wednesday up to 12th in the table, but the play-offs are still a distant hope at this stage.

Half-time: Rushden 0-1 Owls
